Bahamas Natural History Conference: Pathways to Conservation

Dates: March 19, 2018 - March 22, 2018

Location: Nassau, Bahamas

The theme for BNHC 2018, Pathways to Conservation, emphasizes the need to align the multidisciplinary approach with diverse sectors together to ensure successful conservation success of natural resources in The Bahamas. It is known that conservation achievement cannot happen through the advancement of science alone, and likewise, policy change cannot be embraced without public support. It is the integration of these different and complex components that are the Pathways to Conservation Success.

The goal of the conference is to inspire new avenues of research and cooperation across disciplines while highlighting the benefits of research of the environment, economy, and human society of The Bahamas.
